About Kate Blalack

Kate Blalack - Kate-Blalack-print.jpg

Kate Blalack purchased her first home in Boulder county in 2004, and hasn’t stopped looking at properties since.

Now, many years (and homes!) later, she deeply understands not only the ins and outs of the local market, but that buying or selling real estate often represents a significant life transition. As your Realtor, Kate is here to guide you and manage the details every step of the way so you can focus on what matters most. Whether looking at starter condos or multimillion dollar properties, her clients appreciate her responsiveness, patience, persistence and attention to detail.

Kate holds a B.A. from Brown University and an M.S. from Southwest Acupuncture College. Her advanced real estate training includes a Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) certification, and the prestigious Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) designation. She is a member of the Boulder Area Realtors Association.

Before settling in Boulder in 2000, Kate worked as a wilderness EMT and Himalayan trekking and cultural guide. She loves the health-conscious and family-friendly community, as well as the amazing outdoor opportunities that Colorado offers. Fun facts: Kate is also a nationally certified and licensed practitioner of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, and a 2021 thru-hike completer of the Colorado Trail. She is committed to giving back to her community by donating a portion of each sale to organizations that promote education, equity, and access to health care.

Whether working with buyers or sellers, Kate loves the value that Compass technology brings to her clients. Kate values long-term relationships and has a great appreciation for her network of past clients, as well as related professionals including lenders, contractors, stagers, architects and more.

If it feels like you might be a good fit, please call or email. Kate would love to help make your real estate vision a reality.

About

"Five stars for Kate Blalack, no question! Kate was my realtor for both sale and purchase. Both deals were tricky for different reasons. She's an incredible combination of heart, intellect and grit. She's very honest and real and not "real estate agent-y." She soft and kind and then an awesome negotiator when that's what's needed. I really don't think we could have pulled this off without her. Immensely grateful that she is in this profession, and was our guide throughout these last couple of months."
